The Shoreline Homeschoolers Support Group is an inclusive organization that supports member families living along the Connecticut shoreline, from the greater New Haven area to Lyme, and north towards Middletown and Haddam.

The organization respects diversity and individual choice in educational philosophy and welcomes all families as members, regardless of their reasons for homeschooling. We recognize new ideas as welcome signs of thoughtful participation by our members. The active involvement of our members in this group enhances its stability and progress and allows Shoreline Homeschoolers to offer support meetings, group activities, and the sharing of announcements and information that are of interest to shoreline area homeschoolers. The Shoreline Homeschoolers support group has been in existence for over 20 years! We are a supportive community where members come together to form friendships, organize activities and events for the children, share interests and concerns, and have fun! Membership includes -- support group meetings and social gatherings; subscription to a great email list used by members for sharing information; annual events for the children; membership cards for educator discounts; group tickets for area events; and much, much more...

more on blacksmithing! :-)

Submitted by blacksmith on Mon, 10/24/2005 - 6:26pm.

Hi everyone
I have a very small blacksmith shop, but it is still growing. My metal pile is growing by the minute. However, I am always looking for scrap metal, so if you need to get rid of some scrap metal I'll be happy to take it.

If anyone knows a local farrier who still has any old rasps, I could use a few.

Please reply if you do know of any. I'll give them a call.

Ciao,
Molly
