Heres a list of books you might want to read.

Popcorn Days & Buttermilk Nights: By: Garry Paulsen-(Great Author)
(book is a story)- It is about a 13 year old boy who gets bitten by the "Blacksmithing Bug" when he moves out into the country. He lives with some family out on a farm in a very small town. He uses the blacksmithing to rid himself of the bad city habbits that have become part of his life style. I enjoyed the book very much. I felt a lot of emotions when I read this book. I hope you enjoy the book! Please post any comments.

The Village Blacksmith: By: Aldren A. Watson- Lots of very good information on how they made the iron. The blacksmith made any farm, shop, or household tool. Each illustration has a description right next to it. There is a lot more information on how the blacksmith made all of the very heavy, very hard & clumsy metal work he did in one work day. I enjoyed this book very much. It is a Wow! I could be that good if I worked very hard & practiced a lot. I hope you enjoy the book! Please post any comments.
