Happening in the western sky at sunset... just go outside & look where you have a clear view to the west (the sunset). You can't miss 'em. Really.

Just after the sun sets, and before the first stars appear is an especially nice time to look. (Around 7:30 - 8:30pm.)

Bring your imagination and your creativity to this lively class as we explore art and art history. Try your hand at chiseling a sculpture in the manner of Renaissance master Michelangelo. Create a self-portrait in blue in the style of Pablo Picasso --- and discover why Picasso used only shades of blue paint for a period of several years. We'll take our canvasses outside and create paintings in the spirit of Van Gogh and Georgia O'Keefe. Whimsical mobiles inspired by Alexander Calder, fresco painting brought to us via Leonardo da Vinci, artwork inspired by musical compositions, sculptures molded from found materials and more will be explored during this eight-week session.
