Hi everyone
I have a very small blacksmith shop, but it is still growing. My metal pile is growing by the minute. However, I am always looking for scrap metal, so if you need to get rid of some scrap metal I'll be happy to take it.
If anyone knows a local farrier who still has any old rasps, I could use a few.
Please reply if you do know of any. I'll give them a call.
Ciao,
Molly

Jack and Annie saw a tree house and there was a secret leaf that said "Look for me in the heart of the oak." Then they saw an open book about a castle in Camelot that was very haunted. When they were in Camelot, they pushed on a crack in the heart of the oak and then it opened by magic! They went inside and there were lots and lots of candles. Then they went into another part of the oak tree and they met a boy named Teddy. They walked through the woods; Teddy had a lantern. They walked into a small town and kids were telling them that they were not allowed to go to the haunted castle because there was a lady that ran out screaming the haunted castle in Camelot. They walked along the path that led them into Camelot and then they saw an old lady that told them a rhyme that said: "Where's the girl spins wool and thread? Where are the boys who play chess before bed? Where the hound needs to be fed?"
Once there a little girl named Dorothy and little dog Toto. She lived in Kansas. There was a cyclone that blew her away to the land of Oz. Then she met some people that are Munchkins. A munchkin girl kissed her so that she wouldn't get hurt. She went onto the Yellow Brick Road so she could get to Oz, who could send her back home to Kansas. Along the way to the Emerald City, she met a scarecrow, a tin woodman, and a lion. As they went along, they came upon poppies that could put you to sleep. Dorothy and the lion fell asleep, but the scarecrow and the tin woodman did not fall asleep. They carried Dorothy in their arms. The tin woodman had a make a seat for the lion because he was too big to put in their hands. The Queen of the Field Mice gathered all of the mice, who each carried a piece of string in their mouth, so that they could pull the lion to where he needed to be. Then they made it to Oz.
Heres a list of books you might want to read.
Popcorn Days & Buttermilk Nights: By: Garry Paulsen-(Great Author)
(book is a story)- It is about a 13 year old boy who gets bitten by the "Blacksmithing Bug" when he moves out into the country. He lives with some family out on a farm in a very small town. He uses the blacksmithing to rid himself of the bad city habbits that have become part of his life style. I enjoyed the book very much. I felt a lot of emotions when I read this book. I hope you enjoy the book! Please post any comments.
The Village Blacksmith: By: Aldren A. Watson- Lots of very good information on how they made the iron. The blacksmith made any farm, shop, or household tool. Each illustration has a description right next to it. There is a lot more information on how the blacksmith made all of the very heavy, very hard & clumsy metal work he did in one work day. I enjoyed this book very much. It is a Wow! I could be that good if I worked very hard & practiced a lot. I hope you enjoy the book! Please post any comments.
Jack and Annie were in their bathing suits walking home from their swim lesson. They saw the magic tree house, so they went to the tree house and then they found a book that was open. They saw snowy mountains in the book and they went to Antartica. The tree house went around very very fast. They saw figures and the figures were holding spears. There were tall figures and short figures and there were medium-sized figures. These were the cro-magnans. Jack and Annie climbed down the rope ladder and then they had to walk and it was freezing there and they had their bathing suits on. They went into a cave that was filled with bones and then they didn't know what it was for, so they looked in their book. They were from cave bears, but they thought cave bears were extinct. But they weren't, because in this cave they went exploring and found a cave bear. And it was alive! So they ran out of the cave as soon they knew the cave bear was alive, so then they found the cro-magnans' home. They were freezing, so they went inside and warmed their hands on the fire. Then Annie went back and put on clothes and said, "Ta-Da!" and then Jack said, "Where did you get that?"
